# Qodo alternative for individually selectable behavior checks

Perch lets an agent select one saved English requirement and check the current method. Qodo also offers custom rules and pooled billing without seat fees; Perch’s distinction is the named check, explicit scope and cached unchanged answer.

## Should the unit be a team credit or a rule check?

Qodo already provides managed team review without a per-user cap. Perch reads the current working file with `perch check`. For a known requirement, select its rule name and method instead of requesting another broad review. A local CLI describes where the command runs; Perch sends relevant source to hosted TypeSafe models for analysis.

Do not substitute the separate [MIT PR-Agent project](https://github.com/The-PR-Agent/pr-agent) for managed Qodo. Its [local Git provider](https://docs.pr-agent.ai/usage-guide/local_git_provider/) compares committed HEAD with a target branch and requires a clean working tree.
